While the Inter\u00adnet is alre\u00adady in the phase of being esta\u00adblis\u00adhed when it comes to the care of men\u00adtal dis\u00ador\u00adders, expe\u00adri\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion is going on with other modern media such as serious games. A serious game is a game in which edu\u00adca\u00adtion and beha\u00advior change is the goal, along\u00ads\u00adide with enter\u00adtain\u00adment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Objec\u00adtive:<\/strong> The objec\u00adtive of the pre\u00adsent arti\u00adcle was to pro\u00advide a first empi\u00adri\u00adcal over\u00adview of serious games app\u00adlied to psy\u00adcho\u00adthe\u00adrapy and psy\u00adcho\u00adso\u00adma\u00adtic reha\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adta\u00adtion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Method:<\/strong> The\u00adre\u00adfore, a sys\u00adte\u00adma\u00adtic lite\u00adra\u00adture search, inclu\u00adding the terms \u201cserious game\u201d or \u201ccom\u00adpu\u00adter game\u201d and \u201cpsy\u00adcho\u00adthe\u00adrapy\u201d or \u201creha\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adta\u00adtion\u201d or \u201cinter\u00adven\u00adtion\u201d or \u201cmen\u00adtal dis\u00ador\u00adders\u201d in the data\u00adba\u00adses Med\u00adline and Psy\u00adcINFO, was per\u00adfor\u00admed. Sub\u00adse\u00adquently, an Inter\u00adnet search was con\u00adduc\u00adted to iden\u00adtify stu\u00addies not publis\u00adhed in jour\u00adnals. Publi\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons not pro\u00advi\u00adding empi\u00adri\u00adcal data about effec\u00adtiven\u00adess were exclu\u00added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results:<\/strong> On the basis of this sys\u00adte\u00adma\u00adtic lite\u00adra\u00adture review, the results of N\u2009=\u200915 stu\u00addies met inclu\u00adsion cri\u00adte\u00adria. They uti\u00adli\u00adzed pri\u00adma\u00adrily cogni\u00adtive beha\u00advio\u00adral tech\u00adni\u00adques and can be use\u00adful for trea\u00adting a range of men\u00adtal dis\u00ador\u00adders. Serious games are effec\u00adtive both as a stand-alone inter\u00adven\u00adtion or part of psy\u00adcho\u00adthe\u00adrapy and appeal to pati\u00adents inde\u00adpen\u00addent of age and&nbsp;sex.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Con\u00adclu\u00adsi\u00adons:<\/strong> Inclu\u00added serious games pro\u00adved to be an effec\u00adtive the\u00adra\u00adpeutic com\u00adpo\u00adnent.
